Description
Around the time Ola Rian was setting up shop in Norsewood, Burt Munro was making history on two wheels at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
Two rural blokes doing things their own way, with a bit of ingenuity and a fair bit of stubbornness.
Inspired by the love of two wheels, the Munro Motorcycle Sock is made for long days in the saddle. Made in Central Hawke’s Bay using temperature-regulating New Zealand wool, it features reinforced cushioning, shin and ankle protection, arch support and a seamless toe for comfort where it counts.
Combine the socks with a pair of possum work gloves, a neckwarmer or a skullcap beanie, and you're sorted for the long haul.

Can you machine wash Norsewear Merino socks?
Yes, Norsewear Merino socks are machine washable. We recommend a warm or cold gentle cycle and tumble drying on low, or line drying. Avoid bleach and dry cleaning. Merino wool is naturally resilient to odour and can be worn multiple times before washing.

What is the difference between the Norsewear Expedition Cold Weather and Expedition Temperate socks?
The Expedition Cold Weather sock is heavier-weight, designed for colder temperatures and providing maximum warmth and cushioning. The Expedition Temperate is lighter — suited to milder conditions and lower-altitude activities. Both are developed from the NZ Defence Force design brief. If you're tramping in winter or above the snowline, choose Cold Weather. For three-season use or summer hunting, Temperate is the better fit.
